Maganda Ba: Celeteque Traveler's Basics
First let it be known that I have very sensitive skin. I cannot just simply use a skincare product because sometimes even the most gentle product could cause me skin irritations and breakouts. In my 20 plus years of existence I have only used 2 brands for my facial wash and I have never been good friends with toners too not to mention I was never a fan of moisturizers as well. But now I am starting to acknowledge the fact that I am not getting any younger and the more time I delay using skin care products means the earlier skin damage would start to appear on my face.
I recently bought the Traveler's Basics of Celeteque which includes a facial wash, toner and moisturizer. It has been a well established brand ever since and a lot of girls are using it worldwide. I was afraid to try other products because I was thinking it might cause me to break out. Apparently one of my friends is actually using Celeteque and that friend of mine encouraged me to give it a try. So since I don't want to waste money on a product that mighy not work for me I decided to buy the travel size first just to know how my skin would react to the product.
I have been using the product for 3 days now and to be brutally honest it is a so-so product for me. I did not notice anything different after using this product. Fortunately my skin did not breakout after I've used the trio, although I have noticed a few tiny bumps here and there on my cheeks. I must admit that whenever I use it at night I find my skin very soft the following day. The cleanser is very gentle but it's not very foamy for me and after you wash it already, it leaves your skin feeling like you were not able to remove all the product. The toner though when I applied it leaves my skin feeling dehydrated so I immediately have to apply the moisturizer after the toner. The moisturizer among this three products I guess is my favorite. The moisturizer has a gel consistency but it is not sticky and it is easily absorbed by my skin. My over all experience with this product is non remarkable. By the way I got this kit from Watsons for 150 pesos.
Will I recommend it? Well I would recommend the moisturizer definitely, I think this might be a good buy after all but I don't think I will be switching to this any time soon.
