Masarap Ba : Maxi Mango
One of latest food craze lately that everyone is talking about is Maxi Mango. It is a dessert stall that serves decadent mango softserved ice cream. The company started in Davao, which is actually the hometown of its owners. Maxi Mango now has several branches around the metro and they are open for franchise as well, some of their locations in Metro Manila include SM MOA, Robinsons Ermita and SM Bacoor.
They only sell 4 products but I tell you the lines just to get hold of these mango specials are looooooonnngggg. They have the Maxi Mango, Mango Float, Mango Shake and Mango Juice Float. I have tried two out of their four products already, the Maxi Mango and Mango Float, I will tell you in detail what I think about these yummy desserts.
Their Maxi Mango is basically soft served mango ice cream with lots of fresh mango bits. Let's start with the ice cream first, their mango ice cream as they say is the secret behind their success, it is very tasty it is not too sweet just the perfect mango ice cream taste, I even wonder if it has cheese in it, the mango ice cream is so creamy and delectable. Now the mangoes, their mangoes during the time I tried the Maxi Mango was a bit sour but I think it actually compliments the ice cream so I have no complaints. I only availed the smallest size which costs 59 pesos only.
Let's talk about their Mango Float, now this one is almost everyone's favorite. However, it did not live up to my expectations. I think it was the mangoes that didn't deliver the flavor I was expecting. During that time when I bought the Mango Float, the mangoes used taste bland.
