Masarap Ba : Cha Tuk Chak
My quest to find the best milktea place in the Philippines has continued, this time I tried a thai tea that a lot of people has been raving about. Cha Tuk Chak is a milktea cafe that specializes in thai tea, coffee and desserts. They have numerous branches around the metro already, I visited their branch in SM North EDSA Sky Garden last week and mind you it was packed. The ambiance of the place was very cozy perfect for hanging out with the barkada.
They have a wide array of milkteas to choose from, I opted to try their Famous Thai Milktea which is the Cha Yen, I can really taste the tea in it, it is not too creamy and not too sweet either contrary to most milkteas I have tried before. The pearl was also very good, it wasn't saggy but not too firm either. The Cha Yen with pearl (regular) was only 130 pesos. It is very affordable which is why it is not a surprise that millenials are so fond of it.
Would I recommend it? For tea lovers like me, I would definitely recommend it but if you are for the sweet and creamy type you might want to pass on this one.
