Hi and welcome to Hey Street Smart! I'm Melannie, a 20-something beauty and lifestyle (aspiring) blogger and a Registered Nurse and Licensed Professional Teacher. I am born and raised in the small town of Hagonoy Bulacan. I blog mostly about beauty related contents but I also write about anything and everything under the sun. I started this blog in 2013 as a passion project where I post mostly about anything that stirs up my interest. Through the years I have grown together with this blog, this blog has served as an outlet for me to express my self through words and photos. I eventually ventured to other platforms aside from Blogger in the last 2 years, the first is Instagram (please do follow me my IG handle is @heystreetsmart) and the other one is Facebook (my page name is Hey Street Smart). 

In my humble beginnings, I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to collaborate with some well renowned skin care brands not only in the Philippines but in South Korea as well. 

Looking forward, I am hoping to continue creating contents that would not only encourage but also inspire people. ♥
