Tastes From The Greens
My quest to find the best milktea has continued, this time I have tried a milktea cafe situated in Calumpit Bulacan. Tastes From The Greens is easily accessible and can be located just along McArthur Highway.
I ordered Choco Malt Creampuff (100 pesos), Cookies and Creampuff (95 pesos) and Wintermelon (90pesos) all in regular sizes. I have ordered several flavors so I can give a justifiable review on this brand.
Let's start first with their Choco Malt Creampuff, let me tell you honestly that when I hear choco malt the first thing that comes to my mind is Milo, and to be honest I was quite hesitant about this one but to my surprise it taste really good. It was too sweet for my liking though but I was really blown away by how complimentary the taste of the milktea and choco malt was when combined and the best part is the creampuff which is at the bottom of the drink, say goodbye to pearls because creampuffs have leveled up the game. The creampuff taste like cream cheese combined with whipped cream by the way.
Now for the Cookies and Creampuff, this one has a very balanced taste, it was not too sweet and was very tasty, I can really taste the cookies and the cream on this one. I never thought it would be such a good idea to combine milktea and creampuff together. Meanwhile for their Wintermelon, I guess it would be safe to say that I have tasted a fair share of wintermelon milkteas in the country, this is my go to milktea flavor, and I think that goes out to numerous people out there too, having tasted a lot of wintermelon milkteas already I would say that TFTG's wintermelon just blends with the crowd, should I have tried it with cream puff though the score might have been different.
My only comment would be I just hope they have a larger waiting and sitting area also enough parking space. The place would have been a great spot for barkada hangout should it happen to be bigger. But overall I would definitely recommend this milktea cafe.
