Tiger Sugar Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Cream Mousse
🐯 Tiger Sugar originally hailed from Taiwan, it is actually the number 1 milktea there. In the Philippines they first opened in BGC and not long after in several other cities in the metro. Their latest shop is located in SM North The Block which is just a few minutes walk from my house so I decided to give it a try so as to kill my curiosity once and for all.
🐯 Tiger Sugar is located in the Ground floor of The Block just in front of the Hypermarket. And as expected there was a very long queue when I got there. I waited for about 15 minutes just to place my order and about 20 minutes to get my milktea. While waiting for it I was actually hoping that it be worth the long line. Each cup by the way cost 120 pesos. They have several varieties to choose from I decided to get their Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Cream Mousse.
🐯 Tiger Sugar is nothing like I've ever tasted yet. It's taste was very simple. You can really taste the creaminess of the milk as well as the brown sugar. But nothing fancy, simple as it is. Each sip was filled with flavors of milk and brown sugar. The pearl was also good, it was firm yet soft and it tasted really good.
🐯 Would I recommend it? If you don't mind waiting for about 30 minutes then by all means go ahead. But if you would say for instance be coming from somewhere like Bulacan and you would just go to Manila just to try this milktea then I tell you the travel is not worth it.
